The Greatest Football Play of His Life! – Evan Goree #49

This past Tuesday night I witnessed one of the most incredible events unfold before my lens, on the football field of Ruston Junior High School.  Evan Goree came onto the scene during half time.  Scroll down to see what unfolded in the 4th quarter!

Evan gets to lead the team on to the field at the beginning of the second half

It’s nearing the end of the 4th quarter when Evan goes into the game!

TOUCH DOWN!

After the 80 yard run and noticeably winded, Evan once again gets the call to attempt the 2 point conversion

He scores again!

How about a post touchdown hug from his sister

High fives from the other teams cheerleaders!

Congratulations Evan!

Mary E. Scott - Evan’s Aunt Mary–These beautiful pictures narrate the events of a special night for an awsome kid. They capture the crowd’s enthusiasm and generous spirit as well as Evan’s loving personality. He was so happy to showcase his talents on the Ruston Junior High football field while wearing jersey number 49–the same football jersey number that his big brother Eric wore for Ruston High School. GO 49!!! Thank you, Kevin, for caring and for sharing these fantastic pictures.ReplyCancel
