I love when I finally get to meet my clients in person! On this particular underwater maternity session, my client had seen my work online and contacted me before she was even pregnant. Once we finally had all of the pieces in place (9 months later 🙂 ) I flew out to work with them. During our time together they treated me just like family. In the end we spent a quite a few hours split between a two days to get these incredible images (with her husband’s help of course).
David - HOLY MOLY! Those are freakin’ amazing!
Manon Dufour - Wow! It just could not be more perfect!!!!! Awesome work!
Henry - Fantastic photos as usual. Are you growing gills yet? It’s a tie between the first image and the third image as to which is my favorite.
Brittani - These are so great!! Love the black and white ones…<3

B&W Photography Ania & Marcin - Amazing photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Valerie - Blown. Away. These are beyond words.
Giselle - Love, love, love these. Would love to know how you achieve the darker one, where she’s wearing red.
Kevin Beasley - The shot you are referring to was achieved by being in the right place at the right time with the right lighting mixed with great ambient light. It was a natural progression you might say. It was shot with more flash less ambient. I was able to push the ambient down even more in post production. Glad you like it. It was a favorite of mine from that day.
ashley dellinger - I think im in love with you lol….so amaazing it makes me sick! Now why didnt i think of that? Googled unique maternity pics for a shoot i have coming up…these are defintly unique
Bethany McG - I love how she’s sexy, but it’s no overtly sexy. It’s not the ‘How/where would I display this in my home without making people uncomfortable” sexy….Well done…I love the one where she’s in red, but I also love the last two where she’s in teal…fantastic shots.
Kevin Beasley - Bethany, than you for your comment. Your words define what I was trying to achieve. Finding the edge but not getting too close or
crossing over it was a challenge. So many people have opinions as to how the images read, but your description was our goal. Thank you.
Kayla Boyle - These are absolutely amazing! what type of pool did you shoot in? Is this their personal pool? I’m blown away, seriously incredible! Absolutely love the shot where she’s laying on the pool floor!
Kevin Beasley - Kayla,
Thank you for your encouraging comment. This pool was my client’s frind’s pool. Some pools that I use are the client’s, some our my past client’s, and some are friends’ pools. Each pool has it’s own look and style. I pick one based
on the type of shoot that I do.
Paige Wilson - What kind of camera do you use? These are the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have EVER seen!!
Courtney - I absolutely LOVE these!!!! Amazing!! You did such a wonderful job!!
I’m looking into good ideas for my maternity pictures and these are the cutest ones I’ve seen…too bad I don’t have a pool:(
Kevin Beasley - Thank you very much Courtney.
You do not need to own a pool. You only need to have access to a pool 🙂 Are you sure you can not find one?
Courtney - I most likely could but not one that would be as deep as this one in these pictures
kristin - Kevin, I’m seriously interested in having a session done. Please contact me with prices!!
jessica giblin - Not sure if you’ve covered this already… my challenge when I tried an underwater session with a friend was keeping her submerged and myself as well. Next time I think I’ll wear a weight belt but not sure how you keep them long and lean and laying at the bottom like that. (and the chair) I keep coming back to your site.. these are just amazing and I know no easy feat! Well done!
Colette Horter - Amazing! Breathtaking!!!!
sharon - stunning. there really are no words for the beauty of these
Ann Sissel Holthe - Just have to say, these must be the coolest and the most beautiful maternity photos i´ve ever seen. Wonderful work! Just amazing!!!

Janice Stevens - The photography is great and she can say it’s all baby
Anne Marie provost - These are truly amazing & refreshingly unique.. I wonder where you are located? And pricing??
Kevin Beasley - Hi Anne Marie,
I am located in upstate Louisiana, but I can easily travel to where we can find common water 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.
Miche - These are so beatiful!! Wow!! Love it…
Tracie - I am a professional photographer and I had one of my fellow photog friends do my maternity session under water this time (my third child and wanted something different from the others). Anyway, we had a hard time for me to stay down and not float to the top!! I see you mentioned a breathing pattern.. what is your trick??
Kevin Beasley - There is no trick Tracie. When you let all of your air out you sink. The hard part is looking comfortable while not having any oxygen 🙂
leah alingog - i’m so fascinated by your work. I love it so much! so classy and elegantly done. what time of the day did you shoot? and what camera? thanks
Kevin Beasley - Hey Leah,
I shoot at all times of the day hopefully when it is nice an warm. I use a Canon 5D
Rebecca - I am interested to know what kind of case you use on your canon to make it waterproof. Please let me know what works for you. Your pictures are breathtaking. Very orginal
Kevin Beasley - Ikelite housing
Monika Colomera - impresionant! precious!
