A Mississippi Bride – Melissa’s Bridal Session

We met Melissa in Jackson, Mississippi a couple of months ago to photograph her bridals.  We (Donald, Andrew, and I) met at Shanna Lumpkin’s  boutique, A Southern Affair: bridal boutique & event planning. I even had a chance to shoot a bit in her boutique (hence the first shot you see below).  After leaving her boutique we headed to a previously scouted location, the Smith Robertson Museum. It was there that we were blown away by the great artist, RIK FREEMAN and his show “The Chittlin Circuit Review“.  I am not kidding when I tell you this guy paints like nothing we had ever seen. We had the best time there and the staff at the museum could not have been more generous, complimentary, and gracious.  The rest of the images were from misc. locations  in down town Jackson.
